Where do I meet the shuttles to the wedding?

The pick up and drop off location is Wright Square in downtown Highlands near the corner of Main St. & 2nd St.

When should I arrive?

From shopping to hiking, you will find the Highlands has something for everyone! We hope you are able to make a weekend of it and join us Thursday and Friday night for pre-wedding festivies!

Where should I stay?

We recommend staying in or close to the heart of downtown Highlands (Main St.).  We are providing roundtrip transportation to the wedding from Wright Square located on Main St. downtown.

Is there a room block?

Since October is the height of the season, most hotels do not offer hotel blocks, but we do have a limited number at 3 hotels. There are several other unique hotel and inn options to check out!

Is there Uber in Highlands?

Nope!  We are providing transportation to and from the wedding. See FAQ above!

Is there parking at the wedding?

There will be complimentary valet only parking for those who drive to the wedding.

What is the dress code for all of the events?

Thursday night - casual
Friday night - dressy casual
Saturday - semi formal/cocktail

Will food be served at the events?

Thursday kick off party - self serve beer, wine, cocktails and hor d'oeuvres
Friday welcome party - open bar for 2 hours, cash bar following
Saturday wedding - open bar, hor d'oeuvres, and dinner buffet

Is the wedding outside?

The ceremony will be outside on grass (weather permitting) and the reception will be under a indoor/outdoor pavillion.

What will the weather be like?

Average tempature for late October in the Highlands is low to mid 60's. We recommend ladies bring a shawl or coat for once the sun goes down. Our venue is equipped with heat if necessary.

Can I bring my children?

Although we love your little ones, this is an adult only affair.

What are recommended things to do in the Highlands?

Dining, shopping, golfing, and hiking are our favorite things to do in the Highlands!
